Background

I attended Art College and University in the 1970s. I studied at Edinburgh College of Art, UK,

Yale University, USA and University of Alberta, Canada. 

I was a part-time lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art before coming to Fife in 1982 where

I was an Arts Manager for Fife Council and latterly with the trust OnAtFife until 2011.

Since 2011 I have been pursuing my painting full-time.

I have had some success with juried exhibitions in Scotland and in London and in 2016 won the Royal Scottish Academy 

Open Award and the Meffan Gallery, Winter Exhibition, Colin Dakers Memorial Purchase Prize.

I have works in public and private collections in the UK, Europe and North America.

My current intentions are to pursue the development of my imagery with a view to further submissions and exhibitions.
